• The newly hatched Brine Shrimps are considered the best food source for all baby fish, when first hatched the Brine Shrimp larvae contain a nutritious yolk sac and they have the ability to survive in fresh water for up to 6 hours. These eggs must be hatched following the directions outlined below, do not feed the unhatched eggs to your fish.

Hatching Instructions:

• Use an air pump to blow oxygen.

• Water temperature 28° – 30° Celsius.

• Incubation period for optimum hatching time is 24 - 36 hours.

• If water is cold it may take 36 - 48 hours.

• Use salt water or fresh water with salinity of 25-28 ppt.

• Add 1 teaspoon approximately per 300 fish fry.

• Optimum pH is 7.5 - 8.5.

• Density of eggs should not exceed 5g per liter.
